A Pumpkin Patching we will go and a little Autumn decorating!

Hi all!
After all the rain, flooding and gloom we had this past week, this week-end was a welcome reprieve.
With crisp, cool temps in the mid sixties and beautiful sunshine the trees are really starting to change!

And I thought Sunday afternoon would be a perfect time to take a little cruise to my favorite pumpkin patch!
It's a short cruise, only about 3 miles down the road from us.  I hope this will help get you in the Autumn spirit!

It's such a charming place with pumpkins galore!

They grow so many different varieties!  And they have everything laid out and decorated it so perfectly!

Ahhh, gorgeous Mums everywhere we look!

It's such a spooky good time!

I love these pumpkins!  Aren't they unique!

 Traditional.

  I got to have gourds!

Don't you just love these turban pumpkins!

Go inside and there are wonderful autumn displays!

I just love a little frenchy!

A frenchy topiary!

How about some yummy squash for supper!

When I got home I started doing a little more fall decorating to our front porch.

My pumpkin display!  I will probably rearrange it many times.

Thanks for coming by everyone!
Cindy

I am joining Susan for Met. Monday.
Marty for Tabletop Tuesday.

  3. Cindy, that pumpkin farm is amazing!! I especially love the white pumpkins. I think this year I'm going to try to make it to The Roloff's pumpkin farm. I hear it's packed with people...so we'll see.

Great post, but where's baby update???? Inquiring Grandma's want to know.....:)

  4. Enjoyed the trip to the pumpkin patch. I really like your Fall decorations. Now that it is starting to cool down some here, I may need to shop for a pumpkin and a pot of mums.
    Have a great week.

  5. How wonderful that you have such a great place so close to you! I love all their displays. I love your fall decorations. I cannot wait until next month when one of the farms near me has its Pumpkin Festival. I almost started decorating for fall this past weekend but I still was not ready to let go of summer. Maybe next weekend...

  8. I love places that go all out and make it a fun while looking for that perfect pumpkin! We have one near us that they take all the school kids to and they even get to grind corn in old rocks.

Glad the river is quieting down. I feel so badly for people who have flood damage. It really makes a mess of things. Glad the family is all ok.

  9. I am glad to see things are improving there! The pumpkin patch looks like fun! Love those warty pumpkins!
You did a great job on your display. We have not had a change in color here, everything all green and summer annuals blooming away. I know it will happen, soon enough!

  10. It's the most wonderful time of the year! I love the colors, the smell and the cooler temperatures. I've wanted to make a topiary like that, but I know the squirrels would turn it into a buffet!

  11. Oh so many differents varieties!!! A fabulous farm!

  12. Well I am glad all is well and life is turning back to normal - for most of the people around you. We did hear of the towns that were destroyed. So sad.
Well it's 109 here today. NO matter how many pictures of pumpkins I see - it just DOESN'T FEEL LIKE FALL YET!
And I'm outta here tomorrow so I don't care if it's going to be hot here all week. Ahhhhh - cooler temps are just north of us! YAY!
But your pictures are gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen so many different varieties! COOL!
Well, hopefully you won't become a Gramma when I'm gone, but - I am going to try and keep checking in on you. SO GOOD LUCK!
Have a great week! Hugs! Karen

  21. What a neat place to have so close by. Those gourds are only 50 cents, wow. They are so expensive at the grocery store. I love the white and Frenchy pumpkins. The other ones look like they are covered in warts. Maybe a witch put a spell on those. Ha ha.

  43. Cindy, this looks like the best place to go shop for pumpkins and also for fall decorating inspiration. What cute, cute vignettes that have set up. I've never seen a turban pumpkin, and it looks so pretty on your bench. What a cute little fence with scarecrows! You're making me want to run to the pumpkin patch, but the one I go to isn't nearly as neat as this one.
I had to laugh about you asking me to share photos of where I went this past weekend. I went to help my husband and son "decorate" their trailer at hunting camp!! While there, I did joke about taking "before" and "after" pix!
No grandbaby yet? I know you (and especially your daugter are getting so anxious). laurie

  58. Good Morning Cindy Sweetie...
Oh my goodness gracious what a beautiful share this morning. I love the pumpkin patch visit. I can't remember the last time I visited a pumpkin patch. I love the whites and those pumpkins with the wart like bumps all over them? LOVE those too. There displays are tremendously gorgeous and I love their mums. The gardens look exquisite. You can tell they put SO much time and thought into their patch.

Those squash looked great. What a supper treat? Loved the corn too.

Your arrangements were gorgeous as always. You can take a few items and make a beautiful vignette. Thank you for sharing this morning and thank you for stopping by for tea. It was SO delightful.

Hope you have a gorgeous day sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
