Hi my lovely friends. I think I have a spring-i-fide brain. It's all I can think of right now. I want to dig in the dirt, plant flowers, and watch things grow. The last two week's of warmer weather has melted all of our snow. And little Green things are popping out of the dirt. So guess what some of my favorite things are right now....
All of these pics were taken last year during the month of May. My apple trees in bloom!
My crab apple tree in bloom...
Oh, and my lilacs! I love lilacs, they are so lovely and smell so good!
My Mom's tulips! They are coming up, and maybe they will bloom earlier this year....
Our front yard all green and spring-i-fide!
And over here too!
And the farmer's fields all Spring-i-fide and ready for planting!
My son and daughter were both born in May and my step-son was born in June. I just love Spring! A time for new beginnings. And a time for new blog parties! I am joining Laurie @ Bargain Hunting and Chatting with Laurie for her new weekly meme. Go check out her blog, you won't be disappointed!

Oh my, all of the trees and flowers are gorgeous and your yard is beautiful. Now if only mine looked like that. Hope you are enjoying. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeletePretty Spring-i-fied pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteGray and dreary here today. Hope the sun shows it's face, as I have to get out this afternoon.
Enjoy your weekend.
Your yard is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI just love when the trees are in bloom. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers and trees are just beautiful ♥
ReplyDeleteWOW, what an expansive property you have! How beautiful! I can just imagine how pleasant it would be to lay a blanket out on that lawn and read under the sun :) ♥
ReplyDeleteVery nice Spring-i-fied pics girl. It's coming...I can feel it....I can hear it in the songs of the birds and the songs of the little peepers in the ponds. Get ready girl, we're gonna be takin' pictures of our bloomers before we know it.
ReplyDeleteHave a glorious day, it's beautiful here! :o)
I'm glad these photos were taken last year...I was starting to feel awfully jealous.:)
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos! Your trees and flowers are simply divine! Thank you for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Your trees and lilacs are gorgeous, Cindy. And I have never seen greener grass at this time of year! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was just reminded of this party today and couldn't think of anything quick enough. I am having some rooms de~wallpapered and I can't choose paint colors! I am so indecisive! So the whole house is a mess.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend, girlfriend!
xoxo

SIgh. I have to come visit you. I think I might just pack me a suitcase right now. Course - if it SNOWED I'd be really happy too! :)
ReplyDeleteOK, so when you are down on your hands and knees happily digging in the dirt and you hear someone come up behind you - don't think it's me - it'll probably be your naughty deer or your friendly bear from your neck of the woods. :) (Remember you have that little ladder leading to roof - go for that Girlfriend! :) )
Have a great weekend! Miss you! Karen
Ahhhhh -- the merry merry month of May! I've always said it is one of THE most delightful months! Thanks for sharing the promise of spring to come -- we're mighty dreary today.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely green front yard. I have the same spring a fied condition that you have. Today I went to the plant nursery to buy tomatoe plants, and sternly stopped myself from buying any, after reading the sign which said "Wait until mid-April to plant tomatoes." But I didn't burst in to tears, instead I bought strawberry plants and other goodies.
ReplyDeleteTis hard to wait!
Hi Cindy!
ReplyDeleteOh, you aren't alone in the Spring on the brain and the need to get out and play in some dirt!LOL
All of these pictures are not helping! LOL they are all beautiful!
UUUMMMM!!!! Nice! Our temps are so cold here in VA today and we even had a snow shower this afternoon! So these pictures of your beautiful yard were just what I needed to see today to warm my heart! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
Cindy, what beautiful pictures. I'm so glad you linked this beautiful post to Favorite Things. I think the color of your mother's tulips has become one of MY favorite things! Thanks so much for linking up. laurie
ReplyDeleteI love those trees in bloom. I just planted a crabapple last year. I can't wait to see if it will bloom this year.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures look great! I know I look forward to the same things. See, I read they are from last year, :) I would be very jealous too!
ReplyDeleteI wish those crab apple lasted longer, don't you?
Oh, how I wish my yard looked like this in the spring. That crab apple tree is amazing. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos. You live in a gorgeous setting.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the flowering trees and shrubs!! They are going to be late this year. We don't even have forsythia in bloom yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful, beautiful Spring photos Cindy. You have an amazing view!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
You have one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. Australia's grass doesn't get green like that very often... too dry. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteIt is good to catch up with you. Our blog names are so similar. I can't wait until our apple trees come into bloom so I can capture a picture to put on my blog header. It's been a long, hard winter.
Thanks for stopping by Applejack Lane. My MIL was an avid collector. Many of the things I have were hers, and I have just added to them over the years. Then again, many of the collections are totally mine. It's an addiction that I am trying to stop somewhat.
Springiness and Springified .... what wonderful words! And images too!
ReplyDeleteIt looks heavenly. Hope we look like that in a couple of weeks. The crab apple tree is stunning. Thanks for sharing your spring.
ReplyDeleteOh, Cindy, your spring has arrived! What a beautiful lot & the farmers fields are warm.
ReplyDeleteWe are still doing the roller coaster ... a wee spring here & there.
Have a beautiful Palm Sunday!
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
Hi Cindy! Fortunately, John could not water the faux plants cause he was with me on a Caribbean cruise, lol. It was so nice and refreshing to come home to a clean home last night. Thanks for sharing these pretty flowering trees and plants. I am inspired. Our peach trees started blooming the week we left and I am glad to see more green grass coming out.....Christine
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful!! Wish I like working in the yard!!
