Hi all. If you haven't already, today is the last day to enter the Evening Sunflower giveaway. Just scroll to the last post on this page and leave your comment. It's raining cats and dogs here today. Hopefully, the weather man will be right and we will be sunny and 70's this weekend. Now, onto my question????? I am like super frustrated right now. I have added on as a follower to numerous new blogs in the last several months. None of them show up in my dashboard or anywhere else for that matter. Has anyone else had this problem with blogger? I can't get updates on these and for the life of me, I can't remember all the blogs I have added onto as a follower. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried to figure this out to no avail. If I haven't come by your blog that's probably why. I just need to figure out how to fix this. Thanks everyone and good luck! ReplyDeleteI know there have been a lot of problems with the new blogger and many have had to switch back to old blogger to even get a post up.
ReplyDeleteYesterday early ya couldn't comment on either one for a while. Frustrating on limited time. I never get much help from blogger when a problem arises. Ya just find out others are havin' the same issues. Good luck!

Now that you mention it, there are some blogs I follow that I don't get an update and others I do. Not sure why.

Hi Cindy! Pretty set! No one to the blogger question. I have had a few problems with blogger, but not too many. Here's what works for me both on my Mac at home and the pc at work. Close all of the programs you have running. On my Mac I restart. On you pc you may want to shut down completely and then boot back up. You may have already tried this. If that does not work, I don't know what else to suggest. Good luck!

I've been having issues with seeing comments that need to be moderated and when I click on it, it is just not there? After a little while, I see the comment is back. ugh Who knows? lol? ReplyDeleteHave you tried to hit refrest on your computer and clean out all your cookies and temp files? I know there were times I would revamp my pages but the change would not appear. When I did a clean up on my computer I then could see the changes. Maybe that will help.
When I follow someone I will also save their site in "My Favorites" in a File so I know I have it in both places. Computers...they gives me fits!
I hope someone will come along with help.
Hmmm…I searched around the Help forums in Blogger and while I saw others with the same problem, no one was offering a solution. One guy did say that when he refreshed his page, they came back, so try that.

What a drag, hope someone comes up with a solution for you.

ReplyDeleteI have experienced a few problems myself. I recently added some blogs by either following them or subscribing to them via a reader but noticed that some of them are not showing up. Like you, I cannot recall the names of the blogs nor how I found them. It really is very frustrating. I am not sure what to do about it though. A few people recommended switching to WordPress. I did look into WP and set up a test blog, but I really do not want to make the move yet.
I wish I had an answer for you as to how to fix the problem, but I have not found it yet.

ReplyDeleteCindy, I am so computer dumb, I can't offer any suggestions. My followers box dissapeared on my blog one day, but it showed back up later in the day. Who knows? I think this computers just try to get us riled up! Hope you find a solution, and hope you draw my name!! laurie
