Happy Birthday to my son Joshua Mark!! And here I am very pregnant with him. He was born 2 days later coming into this world 10 days early.
7 lbs, 14 ounces. 10 hours of labor.
It feels just like yesterday.
About age 5.
About age 7. We were in Nova Scotia. Josh was in his shy for the camera stage. He loved to travel and still does.

Thanks everyone for letting me go down memory lane today. Josh and his wife Dawn live in Arizona. Josh is a teacher in a very tough school. They are coming home to Wisconsin to visit next week, I can't wait!

AND, I must say I'm so jealous you only had 10 hours of labor with your first child, I had 52 of the longest hours of my life, but it was worth every single minute.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute to your son. We are looking at empty nest in a couple of years, too. My oldest is 24. We are from Michigan and love the lilac festival at Mackinac Island. We are currently in Scotland and headed to England. My first vacation abroad. It is wonderful.
