I wanted to share with you the cute little placemats I recently won in a give-away! It's also Tablescape Thursday with Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch so why not combine the two!
Dawn from Cottage State of Mind picked my name for these apple placemats she was giving away! Now how perfect is that! Thank-you Dawn!
I used things I already had, the only new items are the placemats from Dawn. My plates were only a quarter a piece at Old Time Pottery. I found these last summer while on vacation and boy do I ever wish we had an Old Time Pottery near us.
For decorative purposes I used these little plates that my SIL bought me for Christmas last year. They are usually hanging on a plate rack but I thought they looked so cute on the table.
Each little plate has a different apple theme!
The little apple in the middle was a gift from Linda T. at our recent bloggers lunch ! It's a Christmas Ornament and it will look so cute hanging on our tree. Thank-you Linda! Now visit our hostess Susan for some fabulous tables that will inspire! Cindy
It's very Beautiful.

The picture as "a whole" is really sooo perfect!!! Ohhh...I think I may have said that already! Hehe!
Love, love, LOVE your new apple placemats that you got from Dawn...they really are pretty! And...could your pretty apple plates that you got from Old Pottery match any better? They look like they were made for each other! I really do love when things "come together" like that! Girl, I've heard so much about Old Pottery Store and I've never been to one. I don't think they have them here in Colorado...but I'm going to check it out! I love your apple plates...can't believe that you only gave a quarter for them...what a great deal!!! Well you were the perfect person to win those placemats...I am lucky to have an Old Time Pottery right up at our corner...I've gotten some great plates there also for 25 cents a piece....I love the apple plates and havenever seen those...I think I need to stop in there tomorrow and see what they got...
ReplyDeleteHi, Cindy, and Happy Saturday to you!
ReplyDeleteI've decided after my second look at your tablescape, that I like the plates with the tree the best. I love the others, but that one is my favorite. I also love that fat little redbird who is standing guard over your table.
A few years back, I started collecting the stone ware version of Winter Greetings by Lenox, and it has the cutest birds on it. I found it first at the outlet mall, and I started going to sales. My favorite plates are the chickadees and the redbirds, but they are really all cute. I just think those two look the most like Christmas.
I also am looking at your header and loving that copper bucket and sweet little pumpkin smiling at us.
You know, I can no longer see an apple without thinking of you. It's your signature, Cindy, and it always makes me smile!
XO,
Sheila :-)
P.S. I also think I forgot to mention that I think it is wonderful that you won Dawn's giveaway. She's a true sweetheart just like YOU! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe placemats were meant to be yours. All of your dishes blend so well and make a perfeft table for Applestone Cottage. Thanks for sharing.
