Outdoor Wednesday/ Mid-Winter Blues

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday sponsored by our wonderful hostess Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ . To see more beautiful postings of the great outdoors please visit her blog. The winter blues are really starting to set in. I have to admit, I hate January. It's too long and too cold, especially in Wisconsin. To remind myself that spring really does exist here in the frozen tundra and before craziness set's in, I look to find any pics I took last year that remind me of spring/summer. This beautiful blue butterfly landed on my phlox while I was sitting at our dining room table. I had to shoot the pic through the glass but it still seemed to turn out OK.
This pic was taken late last May at a friends yard. She has the most beautiful flowering crab tree and it seemed to be at the peek of it's bloom!

We had a lot of rain last spring and it was also very green. Well that's about it, please keep checking back to make sure the winter crazies haven't taken over this blogger. Cindy
