I spotted this cute little luncheon cloth (as they are called) for only $2.00. There was cross stitching and I couldn't see a spot on it. This would be my inspiration and the price was just right! (cheap)
I pulled out my little centerpiece that I made last summer (now don't laugh) for the County Fair. I just wanted to try my hand at flower arranging and although I only got 3rd, I was happy. Also back on the time clock are the Target Birdies all rested up from their Grand Adventure!
My bargain basement Vera Bradley China. Remember these, $1.00 a plate !
Light some candles.
Bring out the tea......
And were ready for a girl's lunch for two! Now head on over to Susan's @ http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Oh, and I guess for reasons I don't understand, my bloggy comment button is at the top of the post. I guess I'm the only one that has this strange affliction, I may have to investigate further. Cindy
This is so pretty, Cindy. I love the blue and yellow together! I didn't know about Vera Bradley plates. I learned something this evening and that's always a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI love your special finds. Very pretty tablescape.
ReplyDeleteThis is the second one I have seen this way. The other one is a blog that I was visiting for the first time and I don't recall which one..but..if I do I will be back to tell you. I remember searching for it...finally found it...and found yours was the same way. Wondering if someone has changed them...hmmm..anyway...I just wanted to say that your cross stitch cloth is beautiful. I think they are made for card tables..but I love them and have several. This one is amazing. Think of all the work to cross stitch all that. Also...the napkins and how you have them on the plate...I don't get around much..but...I have never seen it done like that before. Simple and so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Thursday!
