Several years ago I saw a picture in Yield House of a sofa table that I dearly wanted.
This is a similar photo of the one I saw. I showed it to Hubby to see what he thought. WELL... He took this pic to his workshop and with a little hammering, sawing and painting ........
Here's what I got! I still love my little blue table and the cost was a fraction of the one I sought from Yield House. He used Pine for the table and cherry wood for the top of it. Later, I hope to share more furniture that he has made for us. Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful week. Cindy
You are so lucky that your hubby can build wonnderful things for you. The table turned out so cute. Lucky YOU!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the table. How talented he is to make you such a treasure. I love the color also. It is so much nicer to have something that he made rather than something that you bought. A real treasure. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDelete* You're married to a PRINCE... and a HANDY one at that, you lucky girl! Lovely!... Warmest, Linda *

ReplyDeleteCindy, Your hubby did a fantastic job! And you know what, that table is even more special because you know the craftsman who made it! My husband loves to build, as well. I keep trying to get him to splurge and get the saw he is drooling over, but he continues to "make do". How wonderful to have access to a good shop. I Look forward to more Hubby construction! Linda
ReplyDeleteOh, how wonderful to have such a crafty hubby! The little blue table is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
I love the table, also! Can he make one for me? I would love to buy one!
ReplyDeleteOkay now this is not fair. Everyone's husband seems to be able to make furniture but mine. Cindy that table is gorgeous! I think I need to buy hubby some tools and a book about furniture building for Christmas! I love the pitcher with sunflowers. Is it Bennington pottery? Have a great day. Hugs, Loretta
