My Low Budget Shopping Trip

I took a little shopping detour today, and with a promise to hubby to keep a close tab on spending I managed to find all these cute little things for $12.00 plus tax. The little bird salt and pepper shakers are my favorite and for only $2.99 I just thought they belonged in my house.

This little crock was also only 2.99 and I just knew where I could put it ----my house!

Last, but not least this cute little pierced tin candle holder was on sale for 4.99 and the chunky little candle was a buck. I just love candles and use them a lot during these cold, dark, winter days. Cindy

    What wonderful finds... I just love budget shopping... did some myself last weekend. I've found that I can take pictures, so even if I don't "buy"... I can enjoy seeing the treasures as long as I like... wonderful finds... especially the birdies!

    You did great! You know what I do when hubby shows concern about shopping..I just tell him about only a portion of what i bought! Then its not technically lying--lol. Of course I'll be honest,, I dont go out shopping much anymore. Now next month will be different--I'll be out checking out the new garden decor and furniture...I may have to think of some good stories then!
