My New Grand-daughter is finally here!!!!

Calista Casimira arrived late yesterday afternoon!  She weighs 8lbs, 8 ounces and she is 20 inches long!
She is pictured here with her Daddy, my son Joshua
Sorry about the picture quality but he sent it via his cell phone.
Next Tuesday,  hubby, daughter Katie, baby Addison and myself fly out to Phoenix to see them!
I can't wait to get my hands on her and kiss her chubby little cheeks!
Yesterday was a long day for me.  Dawn (Mommy) had to be induced.  She was 8 days overdue and it was time for baby Calista to get born.
I waited by the phone and I was really getting anxious about everything.
All went well and I am so very thankful for this new little miracle!

  24. Awe, this is so sweet congrats on the newest addition the the family!
In answer to your question about my flowers, yep they are all mine and all in my yard. This is what I plant so the deer won't eat my efforts.
Sadly most of my Dahlias didn't come up this year due to heave freezing last winter...
Take care and enjoy that baby!!!

  38. Look at all that hair! It's a good thing they induced. Considering her size and all that hair, I'm sure she was ready to come out (not to mention her mom). Congratulations Cindy. She's another beautiful addition to your beautiful family. I know all of you had a wonderful visit with her. laurie

  39. Oh Cindy she is BEAUTIFUL! I saw the pictures of her at 10 days old and what a sweat heart but just look at that perfect sweet little face and all that hair! I can understand your anxiety waiting for your daughter to deliver so far away. I was there when my daughters first child was born at home with a midwife but I just learned she is expecting their second little one but this time I won't be there for the birth. I know it's going to be hard waiting for that news. CONGRATULATIONS again on your second Granddaughter...she is absolutely gorgeous!
