Hi All!
No matter how early I start preparing for Christmas, it still feels like I am always behind.
I could keep pulling out decorations but I need to be done.
Taking it down is never as fun as putting it out.
I still have lot's of cooking, baking and house cleaning to do.
If it wasn't for us women no one would probably even have a Christmas.
We celebrated Christmas with my hubby's family yesterday. It was his sister Ruth's year to hostess and boy was she wiped out. It's a lot of work for one gal especially when the family keeps growing.
These pics were taken pre-humongous snowfall.
Can you believe we have 3-6 more inches forecast for tomorrow!
Enough already!
Enough already!
It's a typical Sunday night. My hubby is currently irritated with the Green Bay Packers which is a common occurrence around here! lol!
My MIL made these darling knitted ornaments!
I am using them in my birch basket for a coffee table centerpiece.
Here's wishing you all a wonderful Christmas!
Cindy
I am joining Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch for Met. Monday and

ReplyDeleteCindy, Your home looks lovely, festive, and oh so cozy. It is true that women bear the brunt of everything in getting things organized and ready for the holidays. I think a lot of us all took a little step backwards this year and didn't do quite as much as we usually do. I'm happy with what got done this year, though. Now I can relax and enjoy the rest of the season! I hope you can do the same and then have a glorious and Merry Christmas, Cindy!
ReplyDeletebig hugs, Sue

ReplyDeleteHello Cindy!
ReplyDeleteAs promised in my break post, I am having my coffee and visiting this morning. I am enjoying my break and a tad surprised I have not had time for coffee and bloggy visits until this morning. It is a fabulous almost do nothing week, that I needed so badly.
Your decking of halls is wonderful. Everything is so pretty!
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
It all looks wonderful, and so Cindy! I did less this year, miss it, but feel less stressed. And in Jan I will be doing the happy dance that I don't have so much to carry down to the basement. Did just enough to make us happy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your lovely decor!
I love what you have done with the candy and the .
ReplyDeleteYour halls look all decked and delightful! Have a most Merry Christmas with your family.
ReplyDeleteHey. Cin.... love all the decorating.. love the candy canes in the jar and the gum drops..when we were little we had a little bare branch that we would decorate with gum drops, forgot about it till I saw your jar full. I would eat a few everyday and of course by Christmas, it was almost naked of gum drop decorations. Would love to find a pair of skates like yours to re-do, but not much chance of finding them here lol. maybe you can find a pair for me.. I can trade you some redneck tree decorations lol.. where do you store everything, or do you just re-design it for year round use??? There is one decoration of yours that is absolutely the BEST....Addison!!!!!! SHe is definitely one of a kind!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove and Kisses,
Cheri
"If it wasn't for us women no one would probably even have a Christmas"...yup!
