And Autumn Wedding and Autumn Mantel.

Hi there bloggy buddies!  It's been harder and harder as of late to get a post in.  And since you all are so creative and have such wonderful blogs, I'm having a hard time keeping up.
Today I am joining Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.  The teapot above is adorable isn't it?
My hubbies niece got married last month in a quaint Victorian B&B.  The bunny teapot was one of many on display.

The bride even had a Victorian style gown and headpiece. It was a small, intimate affair.   The couple's children, his and hers, joined in the ceremony .

The cake was out of this world delicious as was the rest of the food!  The topper was the Brides' Grandmothers wedding cake topper.  So vintage and so perfect!

I just loved the windows! The sun was streaming in and created such a soft glow.

And the bride and groom got the most gorgeous of Autumn days!  It was a balmy 70 degrees and the leaves were just at their peak!

They had a lot of their pictures taken near this gorgeous tree!

Since I plan on decorating  for Christmas soon I thought I would show you my Autumn Mantel.
Our weather has turned from highs in the mid-sixties last week to mid-thirties this week.
Brrrr it was so cold this morning.  The frost was so thick and I am so ready for a good crackling fire.

My only new purchase were these dainty little lights.  On these dreary November days I can keep them lit all day long if I please.
I am looking forward to the Holidays but I always feel like I am behind.  Do you other gals ever feel this way?
I am just starting to think about my gift list and when I get enough gumption I will start unpacking the endless Christmas decor
Take Care and Happy Tuesday!
Cindy

Your mantel looks so pretty and I love the lights in the urn. Where did you get them? They are so pretty.

Yes, this weather is crazy. I don't know what it will be like until I let the dogs out!

I am going to try to get some holiday shopping done before Thanksgiving and then do online shopping when the mad crowd hits. Wouldn't it be fun to go together?! :-)

  13. Beautiful wedding in a beautiful place, Cindy. I love the bunny teapot. I am not ready for Christmas decor yet and won't be until probably the second week which is so unusual for me cause I usually put them up right after Thanksgiving but I won't have any time this year...Christine

  15. Hey Cindy! I love B&B's, especially Victorian ones! What a beautiful venue for a fall wedding. I know what you mean about falling behind on blogging, I'm so guilty of it too. There never seems to be enough time to get everything done anymore. Love your fall mantel! You always have the nicest looking mantels and you are such an inspiration to me!

  19. Cindy, I had to have a giggle when I read your post...I'm a cold weather girl (nothing better than stoking up the fire and pottering around the house on a cold day!) but we are gearing up for 5 days of temperatures just under the 100!
I'm over summer already and we haven't had any yet. Give me autumn or spring any day.

  20. That cake looked fabulous and how cute was the topper, and how old it was, what a nice touch for the bride...
I love those little lights you have, they look like lit up pussy willow...where in the world did you find them?

  21. Hi Cindy, What a fabulous wedding you enjoyed. The pics are fabulous! I see your having it challenging finding time to blog since your granddaughter arrived as well. It's something I miss a lot, but of course; our grandies come first! And rightfully deserved too! I'm sure you agree. I've just had to let it go and visit and post when I can find the time. It's tough, but there's only so much of us to go around. Hugs friend! ~CC Catherine

  23. Hi sweet friend...

Just stopping by to say hello and see how you're doing! Girl, you and I are both in the same ol' boat! I just seem to be getting more and more behind with my blogging...eeks! We're having really cold weather as well and it sure has slowed my old bones down.

Well my dear, I love your autumn mantel! Of course, I love anything with pinecones! Did you have those cool pinecone candleholders last year? I love those!!! Ohhh...and those little branches or twigs with the lights...AWESOME! I was just sitting in my big ol' leather chair tonight...thinking about how I might decorate for Christmas. I think I have "decor block"...I can't seem to get any ideas going!

Ohh my...Dan's neice and her husband really had a beautiful wedding! That B&B is gorgeous...and especially quaint in the autumn season. I bet their wedding photos looked awesome in front of that big autumn tree! Ohhh...and I loved their wedding cake...it was really beautiful! Thanks for sharing the photos with us!

Well sweet friend, I hope that my note is finding ya'll doing well! We are doing fine here...just trying to stay warm! Hehe! Talk with you later, Sweetie!

    Love ya,
    Chari

  24. Beautiful wedding photos. That cake is so pretty I bet it was hard to see it cut. This year I am not going to be stressed out with Christmas - that's a promise I made to myself and I've already started decorating part of the house. I'm only bringing out part of my Christmas decor - I did that last year and it was so nice not to feel overdone.

  25. How special that they had her grandmother's cake topper to use for theirs! Makes me wish I had held on to mine, but it was lost somewhere along the way to here, lol.

The holidays are coming? Oops, haven't started a darn thing and I packed all my decorations in a storage unit. I'll be depending on the rest of the family this year for sure!

  26. Oh, what a beautiful venue for a wedding! Loved seeing it all and the happy bride and groom, too! They look lovely!

And Cindy, I would give anything if you could be here for this Christmas Tour. They are showcasing eight houses in the historic district. I gave the girls carte blanche to do whatever they wanted with mine, so we shall see! They were so excited. Normally people set parameters, but I have tried to bend over backwards to make it fun for them. I mean, this is what they love to do, and it's their fundraiser. But I have been working and meeting workmen, etc., and as a consequence, I am worn out and feeling sick. Lots of stress, too. So if you will, please say a prayer for me. I didn't get out of bed on Monday, but I am up today and trying to blog. We'll see how far I get. I'm so behind. I know exactly how you feel.

    Love you...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  27. I have felt behind for months now. I didn't used to even think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving and now I feel as if I'm late and won't make it in time! I used to really enjoy the holidays...now it is so rushed, we all need to take time to breathe!

  28. Cindy, I always feel behind - probably because I usually AM behind! I always love to see your fireplace. It just looks like something in a wonderful lodge. Your decor on the mantel looks so pretty. What great photos you captured at the wedding. I love that cake topper. How great that it was her grandmother's! laurie
