Little Addison Lou is one month old today! And little did I know, that I would fall so hopelessly in love!
She is a picture of her Mommy at the same age.
She was weighed and measured at the Dr. today. She has grown a whopping 3 inches and gained 3 lbs. in just one month!
She is smiling , becoming very alert and is such a good baby who hardly ever cries!
My Mom raised 8 kids and Say's "that she never had such a good baby"!
I guess she means me too! hehe!
I have to say that being a Grandma is one of the great joys in life!
I am so happy that she is nearby and that I get to see her nearly every day!
She stayed over last night so that Mommy could have a night with her friends.
A little sleeping angel indeed~
Thanks to all my bloggy friends for putting up with this new Grandma!

We grandmothers definitely understand. Sometimes I have to make a conscious effort not to bore all my friends to the nth degree with grandchildren stories. My two are coming for the day and night tomorrow. It will be a noisy and bouncy time!!! Little Addison is so precious...they just seem to grow too fast don't they?
ReplyDeleteThat's OK - I will live my non-existant life as a grandmother thru you!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable she is . . .
HUGS! karen
Awwwwwww, what a little doll...she looks so sweet in that cute striped outfit with the rose!!!
ReplyDeleteI know EXACTLY how you are feeling, Cindy. We spent $10,000 having our house packed up & moved from FL to OH so I could be 4.5 miles from my new granddaughter!!! Never regretted a single penny, either. Best move we ever made!
Take LOTS of photos & record every single cute thing that she does. You will be astounded at how fast the time goes by. My sweetie pie just turned 6 & I want to FREEZE her!!!
She's so so so so beautiful!! Oh, you are so lucky to live close and see her so often.
ReplyDeletewell, she is just beautiful!!! absolutely!
ReplyDeleteBaby pictures are always fun to look at. She is so cute and adorable.
ReplyDeletecutie pie...told you that you would love it...it's like nothing else...
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better then a granddaughter...Sorry all you grandma's with little boys in the family...but little girls...just the best!...and Cindy she is a doll.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, look at that adorable little face. Too cute!

I am waiting for my grand daughter in late december my first. so I can't wait to post pictures like yours.
ReplyDeletecathy
She's absolutely beautiful! I love being Grandma also..and I pray by this spring I can go part time and be rocking my twin grandaughters that are due end of Feb.
ReplyDeleteCindy, she is just the sweetest thing! I'm glad she's close to you and you have lots of photos to share. My sister is due in about a week. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I complain about Hubby's recliner, it's still right where he likes it. He has promised to shop for a new one though, it's worn clear to the wood on the arms! He like the love seat. Except for the recliner he has pretty good taste!
You are so lucky to see her all the time. I really hope that by the time my daughter has a baby that I'm living near her. I get to see my son's boys about once a month or so and of course they are wild little angels now!
ReplyDeleteShe is just so precious. I really won't get tired of seeing her pictures. I only get to buy boy things, I'm living vicariously:)
She is beautiful. I guess I forgot what one month old looks like she looks older excpt for the last picture.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. I miss having babies around. I keep making my son promise me he will have lots. He's 10 and he said he's not having any. :(
Congrats!
Oh Miss Addison, you're such a beautiful little flower. What a blessing to have her in your lives.
ReplyDeleteAll Addison joys to you,
