Tablescape Thursday/Or When Life gives you Lemons...

Hello and welcome to another Tablescape Thursday hosted by the very talented Susan @ http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com./ make sure to visit the vast array of tablescapes posted this week. My theme for the week is When life gives you lemons, Make some lemonade! Or when your on a budget, make do with what you have. I love yellow and blue, since it got up to a whopping 46 degrees here today, I've got some major Spring Fever. Heck, in Wisconsin 46 degrees is short and t-shirt weather for some. If you like the oldies, turn up volume now. You can also click on any pic to enlarge.

Today's tablescape is all about lemons and yellow and blue. I used my blue checked table cloth which I see needs to be ironed. ( sorry about that) See more details below.

I had to mishmash (is that a word) my silverware today. I used to have full sets of the blue and white but spoons etc kept going missing and ending up in my step-sons bedroom. When I looked today, I couldn't find a single matching spoon left.

Blue and white tea pot, vintage garage sale.

Blue glasses, $1 each at TJ Maxx.

My new white pitcher that I love so much. Not on sale but only $6 at TJ.

Salad plates, get this, only .70 cents at TJ

The plates I love, only 4 left but $1 a piece also TJ Maxx.

Lemon place mats on sale at Kohls for $1.09 a piece. Well, that concludes my lemony tablescape. thanks for stopping, Cindy

  2. Cindy this is one of the prettiest tablescapes I've seen. The blue and yellow is so soft and relaxed feeling and that pitcher!!!!! I have never been to TJ Maxx but will go now. It's right next door to Home Goods which is my favorite store. Somehow when I leave Home Goods my wallet is always empty. Next trip I will go to TJ Maxx first. Did you buy the pitcher recently? I really want one!
