Outdoor Wednesday/Fish Tales,Pools and a Lovely View!

Oh Hurrah! It's time for another Outdoor Wednesday sponsored by the lovely Susan. To view more interesting outdoor pics head over to http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ when your finished here.
. Twice a year or so, my hubby and a bunch of guys head up north to do a lot fishing and a little bit of male bonding. Here he is, proudly displaying his Northern Pike caught on Spooner Lake. Now we all know about fish tales, but I thought this one really was a doozy.

While visiting my son, who lives in Tempe, AZ we also got to visit the University of Arizona in Tempe. On a hot day (very hot) we climbed some very high steps to get a pic of their outdoor pool. There were a lot of student athletes doing some amazing dives and we were amazed by their athleticism.

This pic was taken just as the sun was starting to set over Lake Michigan. I love the beautiful home facing the water and the lighthouse and sailboats in the background. The grass looks like a carpet of green. Oh summer, please come soon! I hope you enjoyed the tour! Cindy

  27. Hello Cindy! I just found your blog through Cass at "That Old House."

I am a native Wisconsinite and we still spend two weeks up there each summer, north east of Spooner at Gull Lake. Hubby is all about fishing - - - even here in Indiana.

I've enjoyed my visit to your cottage, am wondering where in Wisconsin you are.
