Hi all!
After all the rain, flooding and gloom we had this past week, this week-end was a welcome reprieve.
With crisp, cool temps in the mid sixties and beautiful sunshine the trees are really starting to change!
And I thought Sunday afternoon would be a perfect time to take a little cruise to my favorite pumpkin patch!
It's a short cruise, only about 3 miles down the road from us. I hope this will help get you in the Autumn spirit!
It's such a charming place with pumpkins galore!
They grow so many different varieties! And they have everything laid out and decorated it so perfectly!
Ahhh, gorgeous Mums everywhere we look!
It's such a spooky good time!
I love these pumpkins! Aren't they unique!
Traditional.
I got to have gourds!
Don't you just love these turban pumpkins!
Go inside and there are wonderful autumn displays!
I just love a little frenchy!
How about some yummy squash for supper!
When I got home I started doing a little more fall decorating to our front porch.
Thanks for coming by everyone!
Cindy
I am joining Susan for Met. Monday.

What a fun Pumpkin Patch to visit and so convenient to you. I love the decor you did on your porch...Christine
ReplyDeleteGlad that things are getting back to normal. We have started to have normal cool temps here in WV too. That firt photo gave me the biggest laugh. Love all of them.

Cindy, that pumpkin farm is amazing!! I especially love the white pumpkins. I think this year I'm going to try to make it to The Roloff's pumpkin farm. I hear it's packed with people...so we'll see.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, but where's baby update???? Inquiring Grandma's want to know.....:)
Enjoyed the trip to the pumpkin patch. I really like your Fall decorations. Now that it is starting to cool down some here, I may need to shop for a pumpkin and a pot of mums.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
How wonderful that you have such a great place so close to you! I love all their displays. I love your fall decorations. I cannot wait until next month when one of the farms near me has its Pumpkin Festival. I almost started decorating for fall this past weekend but I still was not ready to let go of summer. Maybe next weekend...

Oh Cindy, what a fun place. I love all the different pumpkins and they have it all looking so pretty. Love the ones that you chose and your fabulous corn too. Your displays are fabulous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHow great you have a place like that so close to you. I would love it. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love places that go all out and make it a fun while looking for that perfect pumpkin! We have one near us that they take all the school kids to and they even get to grind corn in old rocks.
ReplyDeleteGlad the river is quieting down. I feel so badly for people who have flood damage. It really makes a mess of things. Glad the family is all ok.
I am glad to see things are improving there! The pumpkin patch looks like fun! Love those warty pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your display. We have not had a change in color here, everything all green and summer annuals blooming away. I know it will happen, soon enough!
It's the most wonderful time of the year! I love the colors, the smell and the cooler temperatures. I've wanted to make a topiary like that, but I know the squirrels would turn it into a buffet!
ReplyDeleteOh so many differents varieties!!! A fabulous farm!
ReplyDeleteWell I am glad all is well and life is turning back to normal - for most of the people around you. We did hear of the towns that were destroyed. So sad.
ReplyDeleteWell it's 109 here today. NO matter how many pictures of pumpkins I see - it just DOESN'T FEEL LIKE FALL YET!
And I'm outta here tomorrow so I don't care if it's going to be hot here all week. Ahhhhh - cooler temps are just north of us! YAY!
But your pictures are gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen so many different varieties! COOL!
Well, hopefully you won't become a Gramma when I'm gone, but - I am going to try and keep checking in on you. SO GOOD LUCK!
Have a great week! Hugs! Karen
What a fun place...I loved the bumpy and the turban pumpkins! I love the wreath with the Indian corn too, have always loved that! Happy Fall ;D
ReplyDeleteOh, what a wonderful place to enjoy fall and take photos! My kind of place. I love the decorations. How clever.

Looks like a fun place to go with the family! I love, love, love white pumpkins...big or small..I'd use them all year if it were appropriate....and they would last!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place to have so close by. Those gourds are only 50 cents, wow. They are so expensive at the grocery store. I love the white and Frenchy pumpkins. The other ones look like they are covered in warts. Maybe a witch put a spell on those. Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to visit and get into the spirit of Fall. Your display is wonderful. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLinda

What an adorable place! My grandkids would love this...me, too! The prices from what I can tell are also more than reasonable...much cheaper than around here. Your pumpkin display looks great. I need it for my porch when I have this upcoming bridal shower!!! Guess there is no baby yet since we haven't heard you screaming. Your package is in the mail!!!
ReplyDeleteCindy I would love to go to a pumpkin patch like this!! gosh so many varieties!!! You did a great job displaying the ones you found there!! I still haven't started decorating for fall- I am so behind in everything! I even forgot that I was supposed to be working my day in the antique store today till 10 minutes before time to open!! You talk about lighting a fire under me a getting down there in a flash!!!

That is a fun looking place! I wish there were a place like that close to me too. I may have to look for one. They have so many neat choices, especially the turban ones. I've never seen those before. I love the first photo of the skelton in the chair w/the carved pumpkin. Too cute! Your selection and displays look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun that was! Thanks for the tour.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Tuesday.

I am SO aching to be back in Wisconsin in October!
ReplyDeleteYour post made me long for it even more.
I loved every single autumn image!
Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful fall pics and the pumpkins are so pretty. I've never seen those warty looking ones-I like them. You're little red bench is so cute decorated up for fall. Thanks for all the pumpkin pics!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love fall. Great photographs.
ReplyDeleteIt's still feeling very summery here in Florida so it's fun to look at your photos and pretend it's cooler. The fall weather will be here for us sooner or later. Maybe. Love the white pumpkins! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pumpkin farm! So cute! I love what you bought and how you displayed it!
ReplyDeleteCindy, this looks like the best place to go shop for pumpkins and also for fall decorating inspiration. What cute, cute vignettes that have set up. I've never seen a turban pumpkin, and it looks so pretty on your bench. What a cute little fence with scarecrows! You're making me want to run to the pumpkin patch, but the one I go to isn't nearly as neat as this one.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about you asking me to share photos of where I went this past weekend. I went to help my husband and son "decorate" their trailer at hunting camp!! While there, I did joke about taking "before" and "after" pix!
No grandbaby yet? I know you (and especially your daugter are getting so anxious). laurie
Your porch is so pretty! I loved seeing the pumpkin patch, it's adorable. I need a little shed like that to put my skeleton in :)) That put me in the mood for fall, for sure!

Thanks for the lovely tour of your pumpkin patch. It's been so warm here for September with temps in the 90's. It's been hard to get into a fall mood, but your post did the trick!

Good Morning Cindy Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness gracious what a beautiful share this morning. I love the pumpkin patch visit. I can't remember the last time I visited a pumpkin patch. I love the whites and those pumpkins with the wart like bumps all over them? LOVE those too. There displays are tremendously gorgeous and I love their mums. The gardens look exquisite. You can tell they put SO much time and thought into their patch.
Those squash looked great. What a supper treat? Loved the corn too.
