Oh I didn't want to miss a party! So off I went in search of some barnyard fun!
This stained glass piece was an exhibit at the State Fair. Now how cool is that?
In keeping with the pork theme I have this cute little bacon press that was a gift from a co-worker.
And I so love my fat little duck! He keeps my flowers company!
A folk-art sheep to keep my birdies company!
My cloche is all dressed up for the party.
And I love my little blue and white rooster! A gift from my Mom.
And I'll close out with some real life barnyard animals.
Ahhh. Aren't they cute? And they're making me sleepy.
I am joining Lynn @ Happier than a Pig in Mud. for her Barnyard Bash. Go say hi!
Cindy

ReplyDeleteCindy, that stained glass is amazing! Somebody put a lot of work into that. I just love that apothocary jar with the rooster painted on it. If I had any artistic ability, I'd be painting a rooster on the side of mine. Have a great weekend. laurie
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,

You are getting really good at the Cloche decorating! I love all of your pictures, they remind me of Autumn fairs and such.
ReplyDeleteEverything is cute, but the stained glass pig and the rooster on the apothacary jar are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteCindy...I 'm with you. It's bedtime!
I didn't know about the barnyard thingy..I am way behind on things.
Hugs,

Wow, the stained glass pig is beyond awesome. So much work. Your farmyard bash is fun and perfect for this farm party. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Jeanne
Hi Cindy...it looks like I missed a birthday so Happy Belated Birthday!...I loved the little cherry bowl and yes, blog friends are the best..
ReplyDeleteThose sleeeping pigs are hysterical...and Ilove your kitchen backsplash...
Hope your next post is you in the delivery room...Some things just can't be done by anybody but the Mom...hope Katie Rose has a quick and safe delivery...
Folk art sheep are my favorite. I have had a stained glass window made with over 500 pieces and it was a huge undertaking for her. I can't imagine how long that pig took. They have to grind every edge of every piece of glass and then wrap every piece with the metal tape too. I don't have the patience for it myself.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so adorable! Even the real ones!
ReplyDeletesandy
Hope new parents are doing great and congratulations on being a grandparent I know you will spoil that sweet baby. I love Lauries Christmas stuff too. WOW! thats alot of Santas. I love that stained glass pig and also the duck you have and the lamb. You take nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat little girl looks like she is about to pop! How cute!!! I am ready for my 20th grandchild!! Can you imagine! How Patrick would have loved that.
ReplyDeleteNope, I am not going to the gathering. I am WAY down South! They are about 7 hours from me.
There are so few bloggers in this area...so..
sigh..no..I will not be there. I do not think Gloria feels like going either..but who knows. She may.
She has had a lot on her little plate lately I think.
...back to decorating... :)
Hugs and love,
Mona
:):) a baby...sigh..
Hi Cindy, I love all your barnyard creatures, but I think my favorite is that incredible stained glass pig! Is he in your house or did you just see him at the Fair! I went to a state fair in CT yesterday, and it was wonderful, but there were NO pigs like that! Keeping your daughter in my thoughts. Linda
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend and thanks for popping in to see my falleness! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
