Autumn.....Glorious Autumn!

Are you in need of some fall color?  Well then I have some pics for you!
We are less than 2 weeks from peek and with our cooler weather things are changing quickly.
I took a little ride early this morning and came upon these wild turkeys!  I will see them at times but usually they are too quick for me to get a pic.
However, this time I got lucky!

Out enjoying the morning sun!

I drove along the back-roads near our home....the hills are still quite green.

Up the winding country road.

Past the sumac....

Up and around we go..

To view the beautiful valley's below....

Maples bursting with color....

Oh yes, Autumn glorious Autumn!

I will be back soon with some more Autumn pics.

Have a wonderful week-end everyone!

Cindy

I am joining the Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays.

  3. My favorite time of year for sure. I don't like going very far north in British Columbia because they end up with only evergreens.
In the southern part of the province we have colour, glorious colour.

  7. Hi Girlfriend...

Ohhh my...what fabulous photos, my friend! They would make beautiful postcards! You certainly do live in a gorgeous area...the soft, rolling hills...all the forests of trees dressed in autumn...simply breathtaking!!! Oh my gosh, I can't believe that the wild turkeys possed for you! You got some really unique photos, dear friend! Thanks for sharing them with us! You know, all of the wild turkeys that I've seen are always brown. Your turkeys are gray...sooo pretty!

Well dearest friend, I'm just getting ready to head into town for errands. Russ had to work today...special projects that he's heading up at work. I really do hate when he has to work on Saturday. Makes for a very short weekend for him. Anyway, I hope you and Dan have a wonderful weekend!!!

    Love ya,
    Chari

  9. Gorgeous photos Cindy - I love the rolling hills in your part of the state....Our colors have started - no greens here any more, everything is turning its rich autumn brown. So glad the winds calmed down - I was afraid with all the rain and then the winds that there would be no leaves left to dress for the glorious autumn show....Hope you're enjoying your day! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  12. Oh yes Cindy, you are a very lucky girl to be able to enjoy the changes nature brings this time of year.
What a lovely ride you had.
We are still in the 80's and 90's, so it will be awhile until we see much change in anything remoting resembling fall colors.
Until then, I will continue to enjoy what God has blessed you with, Char

  13. Enjoyed your photos. No color here yet, or at least none that I saw while out and about today. The nights in the 40's the next few nights, but back up to high 70's and low 80's this next week.

  21. You are so lucky ...all that beautiful fall color and green, too. Our drought has killed hundreds and hundred of trees here ... so sad. Love the wild turkeys .... thanksgiving is just around the corner!
