Hi All!
I have been busy rummaging through garage sales looking for baby toys! Addison needs toys when she is at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I am amazed what I can find used that looks pretty new! This little doggy was still brand new in his box. Addison spent a good part of yesterday trying to figure out how to pull it!
The box says 12 months and up and she is only 8 months but she was getting the hang of it anyway!
And here's what I got for the money! Just $20.00 bought all these toys!!!
Most of them are fisher price or v-tech.
The one toy in the back retails for $35.00 brand new.
I love finding lot's of fun well made toys for her at a fraction of the cost!
And back to the little doggy! Just wait until she's walking which probably won't be that long!
She crawls like a little maniac, pulls herself up on everything and is curious as all get out!
Take Care and let me know what you are up to!

Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteOh Addison is an absolute angel...she's just beautiful.
I think buying these toys and re-using them is just wonderful...for the cost of them they just don't get used all that much and the kids grow out of them.
Great price you paid for everything.
Karen
Cindy, she is absolutely darling. So fun to see her playing. You really did find a ton of toys. I think you did really well. Can't wait to see you. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo my kind of shopping!!
ReplyDeleteMy girls also find little kitchen playsets and outdoor toys on Craigs List all the time!
She is so darn cute!!!!
Hugs Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham
Keeping you young I hope!! She is a cutie!!
ReplyDeleteThe puppy toy is a real treasure, and Addison is a cutey.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of toys, grandma!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that picture of her toppling over backwards while she tries to pull the doggie!
Those photos of Addison with that little puppy toy are precious!! Grandma SCORED!! (And, I swear, that girl has the largest, most beautiful, eyes I've ever seen!!!) Enjoy your precious, precious gift! Smiles & Hugs - and Happy New Week! Robin
ReplyDeleteI know you are so proud. You got some wonderful toys for that small price. Looks like she is sure enjoying them.

I've been doing the same thing. I don't have enough toys for my two youngest grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is adorable!
Cindy, you certainly did well with your bargains. My son (now 25) had a little dog like that and now my grandson has one. Trent had his tied to the back of his little bike and now Luca has done the same. Poor little doggy sometimes ends up upside down!!

ReplyDelete:) What fun! YOU are a lucky woman!!!:) She is just beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYou got some really great deals. I bet she is so excited to come see you. :)

Absolutely fabulous finds, Cindy. I can see Addison approves!;-)
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! Great deal on the toys. You are smart not buying new at full price as they out grow them so fast.
ReplyDeleteMornin' Girlfriend...
ReplyDeleteJust read your sweet note and came right over! How are you doing, dear friend? Hehe...it looks like you are busy as ever! Okay...I have just one question...are you taking Addison with you while you're scouting out the garage/yard sales? You know...it's important to teach that sweet little girl how to shop and get a great bargain! Hehe!!! I say...start em' out young! wink!
Girlfriend, I always enjoy your photos of Addison! I was thinking about how wonderful it is that you are "journaling" her life here on your blog. It will be something that she can go back and look at when she gets older...know what I mean! I think that is awesome!!! Anyway, it looks like you found some really fun toys for Addison. That little pull-toy puppy is just darling! Cindy, I'm impressed!!! All those cute toys for just $20! Wow...toys are so expensive these days so I think you've done great, Darlin'! I know that little Addison is loving all of her new things! Yes...it won't be long till she is walking! Ahhhh!!!
Got any special plans this week, my friend? I was hoping to maybe do a tablescape but I don't know if the weather is going to cooperate for photos. It's supposed to rain here all day and only getting up to 59 degrees...can you believe that? Have a sweet day, dear friend!!!
Love ya,
Chari
There used to be a store in our town, where people brought children's things for resale. I bought so many toys for my grandkids. They were in perfect condition and only needed washing up. The kids loved finding new "stuff" when they came to my house.
ReplyDeleteYour little one sure looks like she likes that puppy. She's growing by leaps and bounds. So much fun to watch her through your photos. Balisha
She is growing so fast! I'm sure you're enjoying every minute with her. Wow! you really scored on some great toys. I'll keep the garage sale angle in mind when my turn comes to be Mimi. Hope it's soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteTil next time...
God bless you.

Cindy-She is such a beautiful child! Darling, darling little girl! You got some good buys on those toys! I have tons too...amazing, isn't it-what we will do for our "babies"? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLittle Addison is such a doll! Great finds Cindy! I know what you mean! I spent most of the weekend with my Little Darling chasing him hither and yon, lifting him up and down and swinging him here and there! It was fun and I sure got a lot of exercise! If you ask me, I think it is the best exercise regimen for a grandmother! I also think it is keeping me young!

My 22 month old granddaughter has most of those toys in the picture too. Her favorite by far, is also the puppy. She has been pulling that thing around ever since she learned to walk.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! And just a word of warning - look out! Buying those great toys so inexpensively gets to be addictive! (Let me know if you need more information about the dangers!)
ReplyDeleteCindy, you hit the jackpot on these. No doubt Addison will have much fun at her grandparents. Can't help but notice her LONG eyelashes in these photos. Wow! What a beautiful child. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteYou did hit the jackpot and the little one seems to be having so much fun. She is growing so fast and keeps getting prettier.
ReplyDeleteAddison is such a doll! The pics of her with the doggie pull toy are just precious. It is definitely a blessing to be able to buy our grandbabies goodies at a discount - since they so quickly outgrow them.
ReplyDeleteAnd I believe Addison will keep you YOUNG - tired, but young! That seems to be the case for me with my 2 1/2-yr-old granddaughter. ;)
Blessings,

ReplyDeleteWow, you really got some nice toys for your $20! Grandchildren are the best, aren't they - but they do wear you out! I've always said that children - and now grandchildren - keep us young...and age us fast!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLittle Addison is just adorable! You found some great toys for her, Cindy. Garage sales and thrift stores are such fun!
