I want to thank everyone who left birthday wishes for me! You lifted my spirits and your all the best!
I have met so many wonderful friends since I began blogging. And one of those friends is Jamie.
Jamie lives in Arizona and I met her at the blogging tea last fall and again this past spring. Jamie is one of the sweetest and most down to earth gals I have ever met.
Here she is with the darling Miss C also known as Jamie's granddaughter. Jamie inspires me so much!
She has such a kind heart and she is a wonderful Mother of 3 and Grandmother to this cute little girl with another grandchild on the way!
See this adorable little sun-dress? Jamie sent this as a gift for my daughter Katie's soon to be little girl!
Isn't it just gorgeous! She should be able to wear this next summer and I think it's about the cutest dress ever!
And if that wasn't enough she sent this darling outfit too! Just look at that cute little top!
OMG I wish I could wear something like that!
And the cute little pants that go with it. Katie's baby girl should be able to wear it by next spring or even a bit sooner.
Katie just loved the outfits and she is in awe that someone she has never met would send her something for the baby.
And I was so touched and moved to tears.
Aren't blogging friends the best? If you ever get a chance to meet one, I say go for it!
So go say hi to my friend Jamie.
A lot of you already know her and know how sweet she is!
Her blog is called Mimi's Corner and she shares her life, her family and all her awesome adventures!
I'm telling you, this lady has energy! She is always on the go!
Thank-you Jamie!
And for me, I'm going to the Minnesota State Fair this weekend. I feel like a kid when I go to the fair. It's kind of a tradition. Dan and I go every year since it begins right around my birthday time.
Have a great weekend everyone and I'll be back with some cool fair pics (I hope).
Cindy

HI CINDY!!!
ReplyDeleteOh---- not only a Thank you but an entire paragraph, and really it was not necessary. I love to buy gifts for people and it has been so fun getting to know you, I agree about meeting other bloggers, some you know from just a few posts or comments that you have a kindred kind of connection with someone and YOU my friend I felt it, right from the start!!I love your sense of fun and your charming personality. I think baby girl clothes are so fun and so cute, my daughter actually helped pick out the gray (it's actually a dress with bloomers!!) and she bought Miss C the same dress and the bloomers as well, the bloomers for the bigger girls is a little different but you will see her in hers-----well maybe when it gets cool here!!haha, I also loved that halter type dress, we like to go for different!!!All girls have so much PINK, that its nice to get different colors!!!And my daughter likes to match her little one, so gray was a GOOD COLOR!!
So glad you and Katie loved them both as you just never know what people will like!
You are so sweet saying all those sweet things, gosh made me blush!!!
Have fun at the Fair, I wish our state fair and county fair for that matter was at a different locale and it would be fun to go if I wasn't scared to death I would end up mobbed or worse!!It is right smack in downtown Phoenix and alot of ...well if I can't say something nice I'll say nothing, so we just don't go, I have heard the county fair just east and south of me, is alot of fun, so maybe we will get to go to that one. Luckily it is late Oct. when that occurs!!
Have a fun weekend
and have a blast at the fair!!
Eat something yummy for me!!
hugs,
jamie
