Tablescape/Thrifty Thursday and a Giveaway!!!!

Welcome to a double post and a give-away!! Our hostesses are Susan and Leigh, click the links for some great tablescapes and thrifty ideas! My phlox are in bloom and its my 98th post! To celebrate, I am having 3 give-aways starting with my 98th! To sign up just leave me a comment on this post until Friday at Midnight. Better yet, if your a follower and leave a comment you automatically get your name entered 3 times!! I will announce the winner on Sunday and have details for my next give-away!

Today is thrifty and phloxy!! OK, is there such a word ? We have been having the most perfect summer weather! Everyday has been sunny and low 80's and low humidity. Believe me, in March when some of the rest of you have glorious weather I will be so envious! My centerpiece is a pitcher I found for $2.00 and I filled it with my garden flowers! My china was bought at K-mart for $16.00 ( 20 piece set) and is Martha Stewart Living.

The cute little bunny, the votive holders shaped like garden pots are all dollar tree. The glassware was purchased years ago in Mexico.

My new little place mats! Bought in North Carolina at the neatest little shop for only $1.00 a piece.

Here is a closer detail!

The dinner and salad or dessert plate.

All 3, i think these are so pretty for the price!

My simple centerpiece!

My mom bought the napkins at a thrift store for me (very cheap) I wish I was good at folding napkins but if I had some pretty paper one's to match I would have used them! Who wants to wash and dry napkins in the summertime!

Another view for the view!

Here's my first give-away!! I found this pretty little tea-pot while on vacation ! It was in a thrift shop but it was brand new in the box and had never been opened! I love the Victorian and romantic look of it and now I hope someone else can enjoy it too! Please leave me a comment and you will be entered! If your a follower or become one, you get 3 automatic entries. My comment button is way at the top of the post ( I know, I'm the strange one) Good Luck and I am so glad you stopped by, Cindy

  20. Oh Cindy! I love the table setting. Honey it is just beautiful. The napkins look so lovely with the place setting. Don't you just love Dollar Tree and the Thrift stores. They are just great. Now honey, about that tea pot. It has my name all over it. I started collecting tea pots when I moved away from Oklahoma, as Moma and I always say if we only had time for tea together. This way when I have tea I am thinking of Moma and she too the same way. That is the most beautiful thing ever. What a wonderful treasure to give away. Now I am already a follower, so I am submitting my post for the drawing. Thanks again Cindy. Country Hugs, Sherry

  33. Cindy, this is so pretty. What a great deal you got on that pretty pitcher, and your flowers look so pretty in it. Another bargain on that lovely china, and those placemats are so unique and so pretty (they almost look like some kind of needlework). Those napkins are just as sweet as they can be, and I think you did a great job folding them. But that view out your window just looks like a painting! Absolutely stunning. Almost wouldn't matter if you used white paper plates on the table with a view like that to enjoy while you dine! laurie
