Christmas Scenes 2013

Merry Christmas and a ho, ho, ho.
Sharing a few Christmas scenes from our home to yours.

Three year old Addison was very happy to sit on Santa's lap this year.
She tells us she wants a dancing doll for Christmas.
We don't know where she got that idea, but she is adamant about it.

Callie  is 2 and spending her Christmas in a much warmer climate.
My son and his wife are unable to get home this Christmas.
I am missing them a whole lot.

Some scenes from around Applestone Cottage.
It's a little shabby, but it's cozy and warm.
Especially when we have a fire all lit in the fireplace.

And it truly looked like this the other day.  It felt like I was inside a giant snow globe.  The snowflakes were huge.
It has snowed here every single day this past week.  It is really beautiful!
However after Christmas I wouldn't mind a break from it.
The roads have been rather treacherous.
Wishing all of my friends here a joyous and happy holiday season.

  1. Everything looks lovely Cindy. My grandson asked for things that don't exist. He is three. I hope he doesn't get disappointed. Merry Christmas!

  2. Oh, look at hr little hands! She is precious on Santa's lap! This just melts my heart.

What if you got h a ballerina doll??? Or maybe a music box with a little ballerina that dances? Is that what she means? I know it is late to suggest it, but I wonder if she saw something on TV like that.

Your cottage is charming as always, and it feels somChristmasy. And you have a WHITE CHRISTMAS WITH SNOW! Neat!

Love you and wish you a Merry Christmas!

  11. The girls are just darling. I know what you mean about missing part of the family. I am with my daughter, but away from my son again this Christmas. We did get to drive out of that white, cold stuff to the warm weather in the south which is a plus! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Oh, your house is beautiful, and certainly not shabby!

  19. Hi Cindy, Your home looks so inviting with all the Christmas decor! And those two little angels are all you could wish for on Christmas. I sure hope you are able to see your son's family soon! We had a wonderful white Christmas with huge snowflakes that started to fall just as everyone arrived home on Christmas Eve--perfect timing. I wonder if Santa found a dancing doll? We had to find a "hair dolly" when Charlotte was three! Where do they get these ideas? Happy New Year to you and your family! Linda
