A Tabletop Tuesday and a few Thrifty Treasures.
Hi All! It's going to be a beautiful week of weather here in the upper Midwest. It's sunny this morning and chilly but were supposed to reach 60 degrees today and upper 60's and into the 70's by midweek!
YAHOO! I am doing my happy dance! This has been the first March since they started keeping records that we haven't had any snowfall. To me, that's amazing!
I found this little tea-pot last week for only .98 cents. No lid, so I made it into a pin cushion. I kind of like how it turned out.
I found Mr. Bunny at that same thrift store. He was only 1.98 and he was already wearing the ribbon!
And my final thrifty find is this pretty white ironstone vase. This one came to a whopping $2.98!
I am pretty much loving this one!
I am also joining Marty, for Tabletop Tuesday. Tulips and my newly made pin cushion give it a bright sunny look! I am all for the bright and sunny right now. And how's the weather in your neck of the woods? Have a great week everyone!
Cindy

Oh Cindy, this is all so pretty. I love, love, love that birdhouse lamp. It is just precious and your gorgeous pin cushion and the tulips are just stunning. You really did find some of the best buys. The pitcher is wonderful. I know you will really enjoy that. We are in the 80's today. Rain for later this week. Ugh! Wish you were here. So glad it is warming up for you. Thanks a bunch for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

Love your snazzy finds, Cindy! Very clever repurposing with the teapot. Neat! And I love all the other pieces, too, and those GORGEOUS yellow tulips. That paisley plate may just be found missing, too. My magpie eye was drawn to it like a moth to the flame! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSee you when I get back from my chore break...
XO,
Sheila :-)

Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteLove the tulips, the teapot/pincushion and the entire table top. So pretty and perfect for your Spring weather. Weather in Florida has been really windy, some rain, and now cooler than normal. Across the state Fort Lauderdale had a huge tornando. Praying for friends there.
Have a beautiful day and enjoy your warm weather.
Lynn
I love that Easter bunny! Looking for something just like it.
ReplyDeleteWarm wishes

How clever to use the lidless teapot for a pincushion! Those tulips are gorgeous -- I just love tulips and wish they'd grow in my area. It doesn't get cold enough for them to repeat, though.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your great Easter touches. Good deals, too. I like the pin cushion, and iron stone pitcher. Lezlee
ReplyDeleteWhat great thrifty finds! I love what you did with the teapot, that's so cute. I keep meaning to do the same with some teacups I have. Love the bunny!! What a great find for this time of year!
