We returned home late last night and here I am blogging already! Well, I sure have a lot of catching up to do, so be patient with me as I make my rounds!
These were taken about 20 miles outside Asheville, N. C. The weather was lovely and the views were astonishing!
North Carolina is one of the prettiest states! We so enjoyed our time there.
You can actually take an elevator to the top! It was getting close to closing time so we took this option so we could enjoy the views and oh what views they were!
The city of Asheville below us.
And our beautiful American Flag! How perfect, with the 4th of July upon us! I will be visiting you all soon, I actually have to go in to work today and since I've been gone awhile, I better get a moving. Talk to you soon, Cindy
I was so happy to see a post from you today! Glad you had a great trip and that you enjoyed NC. Here's wishing you and yours a very Happy Fourth...
ReplyDeleteXO,

ReplyDeleteCindy, My goal is to be part time within the year and have more of a life with family. I will be waiting for your trip details as this is one of the places I want to go to within this year. Hubby and I love driving to places so this is exciting!
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. I'm glad you had a fabulous time in NC. My sister just came back from there on Sunday. She spent time in Kitty Hawk (outer banks) and in Raleigh for a few days. Those views are breathtaking! I keep seeing the same white house in almost all of the pictures. Is it a landmark home? Cindy I want to wish you and your family a very happy and safe 4th of July. Hugs, Loretta
Totally beautiful! Missing your posts, glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - thanks for sharing your trip.

Welcome back Cindy! I missed you and your posts!!! Chimney Rock is lovely and you have captured the area so well. Love the flag for the Fourth! :D Jewel
ReplyDeleteYes, NC is pretty. Glad you enjoyed. Our last trip to Asheville we went to Biltmore Estates. Happy 4th.
ReplyDeleteNeat vacation! Beautiful vacation photos. Hope your desk wasn't swamped at work. We had the craziest day! toothaches, broken teeth, swollen wisdom teeth, stuffed amongst our regular schedule - did I mention that my assistant quit a few weeks ago - her husband was transfered to OK. Thanks for taking me on a virtual vacation. ~ Robyn
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, thanks for posting! Is this called the Chimneys when people refer to a hike? It looks like it.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! It looks like you had a wonderful trip! Isn't North Carolina beautiful? I grew up near Asheville. Glad to have you back...hugs...Debbie
