Bathroom Snappers, oh my!

Bathroom Beauty Snapper.  Or my scariest post ever.  But for Sheila how could I say no.   I didn't think I would be up to par for this with my recent surgery and bad cold but I took my pics in a darkish room.
And since I had a meeting today, it gave me a reason to put on a dress.

And in honor of Sheila's blog, Note Songs, I decided to frame my pics with what else...

Taking a pic of yourself is very strange and not a real easy thing to do.

Our Lilacs are in bloom!

Our lilacs are in bloom!  May, my hands down  favorite month of the year.  Both of my children have May birthdays and my step-son's is in early June.  May is a month of weddings, graduations and new beginnings.

The lilacs are just starting to fill out this week.  We only live 5 miles from town and they have had lilacs in full bloom for over a week.  I guess they are just a tad bit warmer.   I can't smell them though.  Hubby had a really bad cold this week and of course I had to get it.  When I sneeze or cough my stitches hurt.  I guess my resistance was already down. 

My bleeding heart is also in bloom! 

It's still filling in but it make me smile just to look at it.

And this beautiful cake stand also makes me smile.  It's going to my Mil for Mothers Day.

I found it in the clearance aisle at TJ Maxx.  Only $10!  I think she will like it, I know I do.

Well my friends, that's about it for me today.  I am resting and hoping to get over this nasty cold soon.
