It's a Porch Party!!!

Welcome Everyone!  Today I am joining Rhondi at Rose Colored Glasses for a  first day of summer Porch Party.   My porch is small but I think it is colorful and cozy.
My hubby and I use it all the time and especially now when we are having such gorgeous summer days!

Last summer, I painted this old bench red and use it for displaying some flower pots and my lantern.

I  recently found this old wicker plant stand at a garage sale and spray painted it apple green~  I really like this shade and their is some of that same green in my rug.

My Mom bought us these wind chimes for Christmas one year.  They are a very nice set that are acoustically wonderful.  Out in the country, no one cares if your wind chimes are dancing in the wind

.

Over here I have a tea-cup filled with petunias.  I bought the little chair when we were in Galena, Illinois.

Front door, painted apple red.

Sorry for the shadows.

Front porch view.

Vintage luncheon cloth I found for $3.

I love the embroidered flowers on this vintage cloth.

.

Table set for two with Myott Finlandia.

All of the dishes were found at garage sales or E-Bay.

We have a pair of old wicker chairs .
Hubby's going to fix these up a little more this summer.

Flowers, fountain, tea-pot and basket for a little vignette.

I served my in-laws lunch today out here.  It was fun!

Lily patiently waiting for us.

After lunch, we can sit under the tree and watch the deer.
However, if they start eating my flowers their in big trouble!
LOL!
Thanks for coming by today.
Cindy

I am also joining Sally @ Smiling Sally for Blue Monday.
And Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch for Met. Monday.
And Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
And the Tablescaper for Summer Sundays!

  17. Cindy, I've always loved your porch and each time I see a new addition to it, I love that too. Your little red table and chairs are so inviting, and I love the way you've picked up all of the colors in that pretty rug. The vignette on your red bench is perfection, and that chair is perfect for your giant tea cup. Are the little watering cans across the window lights? They are so cute. The color you painted that plant stand is great with the rug and the rest of your treasures on your porch. Of course, with a view like you have, I'm not sure it matters much what is on the porch!! laurie

  35. Hello Cindy, this is my first visit to your Blog and I have really enjoyed it! I found you through Rhondi's Porch Party and I liked the name of your Blog so I stopped by for a visit. I LOVE your porch..you call it small..no no..ours is small but yours is just a nice size and I love the way you have it decorated. I also wanted to tell you that I love the setting for your home...very pretty and private and I love that. We live in the country on 5 acres with farmland all around us (no neighbors and I LOVE IT) in a little farm cottage. We're fixing the place up a little at a time and hubby says he's putting a screened porch on later this summer..well can you see my grin?! Loved my look around your blog and I'll be back. Take care. Maura :)

  39. Hello Cindy!
Thank you for stopping by. I have been so busy that I have neglected my poor blog... I do miss all the fun parties though! This porch party is one I would have liked to have joined in on! As for your porch...it's so welcoming! I just love all the reds! My favorite color in decor. Your wicker chairs with those red and white striped cushions look wonderful. That cafe table and chairs in red really pop! It looks really good against that carpet you have it on. I recently spray painted a similar cafe set in a pretty green for my daughter's new townhome she purchased. We wrestled with the idea of using red or green. I was leaning towards the red... she finally decided on the green. Came out nice. I hope to post in a future Met Monday. Well... ta ta for now!
    Hugs!
